It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nora Carney McGaughey of Mount Eden, Kentucky, born in Washington, Kentucky, who passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Carney and Bertha Lee Burns Carney; and her daughter Teresa Ann McGaughey. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Earl McGaughey of Mount Eden; her children, Marlene McKinney (Ronnie) of Frankfort and Gary McGaughey (Christy) of Mount Eden; her sister Ora Carney McClain (Robert) of Louisville; and her grandchildren, Nathan McGaughey (Kelsey), Jonathan McKinney (Kelsey), Aaron McKinney (Kelly), Micah McGaughey (Stephanie), Lydia Sandifer (Ryan) and Kayla McGaughey. She is also survived by her eleven great-grandchildren.
