She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Pearson and Holly Pearson (Driskill) of White Plains; her husband William "Bill" Taliaferro; her siblings, Talmadge Pearson (Juanita) and Rita Whitfield (Roy); her children-in-law, Ernie Canler and Sandy Taliaferro; and her brother-in-law Chester Knight.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Canler (Glenn Wagner) of Evansville, Linda Berry (Darrell) of Mortons Gap, Brad Taliaferro (Shelia) of Mortons Gap and Bob Taliaferro (Jeannie) of Madisonville; her sister Julia Knight of Mortons Gap; her grandchildren, Paula Berry, Shelley Pennington (Kevin), Greg Taliaferro (Kristy), Eric Canler (Heather), Stephanie Taliaferro (Chad Crick), Brian Taliaferro (Kodie) and Frances Taliaferro; her great grandchildren, Kole, Allie, Savannah Pennington, Brett Canler (Morgan), Riley, Carson, Karly Taliaferro, Austin, Cole Crick, Blayne Taliaferro, Reese Oldham, Anniston and Hunter Hardrick; and her great great grandchildren, Duke Pennington and Rylee Canler. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
