Julia Delores Knight Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Julia Delores Knight of Mortons Gap, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 10, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Julia leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Henry Pearson and Mary Holland; her husband Chester Knight; her son Greg Knight; and her son-in-law Leon Starks.
She is survived by: her children, David Knight (JoAnn) and Patty Starks of Mortons Gap, KY. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mortons Gap Christian Church (117 Mortons Gap Rd., Mortons Gap, KY 42440). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at the Old Salem Church Cemetery.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made in her memory to MGCC Backpack Blessing program.
