She was predeceased by: her parents, Donia Hawkins-Cates Clayton and Ervin Cates; and her siblings, James Cates, Leroy Cates, Sr., David Lamb, Neoma Lamb, Burna Cates, Jean Gatlin and Etta Williams.
She is survived by: her former husband Bobby Harralson; her son Billy Harralson; her sister Ann Rickard; and her grandson Justin Wayne Harralson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
