She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Etta (Rayborn) and Edgar Lewis Southerland; her spouse Lee Roy Maxey; and her siblings, Dolly Simpson, Mabel Carey and Eugene Southerland.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Maxey (Linda), Lee Maxey (Cecelia), Violette Fausz (James), John Maxey and Mary Etta Patton; her grandchildren, Lori Collins (Mike), Rachel Wolfe (Jimmy), Amy Margaret Maxey, Amanda Avance (Bryan), Patrick Maxey (Annette), James Fausz (Rachel), Jonathan Fausz (Laura) and Kimberly Patton; her great grandchildren, Kayla Messer, Sabrina Collins Childers (Ryan), Shelby Dunaway (Corey), Morgan Keller, Cole Collins, Paityn Keller, Austin Collins, Amelia Margaret Fausz, Sarah Fausz, Alison Fausz, Brooklynn Hais, Nicholas Fausz and Isabella Hais; her great great grandchildren, Kaiden Harral and Reed Emery Dunaway; her sister Patricia Sue McCowen; and her sister-in-law Effie Southerland.
