With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Goebel Phillips Jr. of Morgantown, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary W. Phillips and William G. Phillips; his siblings, Dorothy, Lois, Hilda, Bobby, Earl, Frank and Jimmie; and his in-laws, Rex and Thelma Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Taylor Phillips; his children, Brian Scott Phillips, Amy Elizabeth Mendez (Tony) and Craig Alan Phillips (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Sadie Elizabeth Phillips, Taylor Elizabeth Wysong (Kasen), Brayden Thomas Phillips and Ace William Phillips; his stepgrandchildren, Derek, Mia Mendez, Olivia and Harper Richardson; his great grandchildren, Liam Dei, Callen Rone and Brooks Anthony Wysong; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Taylor and Terry Blaner. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Air Force Aid Society or Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
