He was predeceased by: his wife Emma Dean Baize DeWeese; his parents, Corbie DeWeese and Minnie Wilson DeWeese; and his siblings, Dorene Dusky, Doris Coleman, Corbie Jr. DeWeese, Kenneth DeWeese, Rollie DeWeese and Robert DeWeese.

He is survived by: his siblings, Danny DeWeese (LoRei) and Ruth Daugherty. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a few great-great nieces and nephews.
