We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2023, at the age of 69, Thomas W. Carathers of Morgantown, Kentucky, born in Butler, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Carathers and Julia Ann Kirby Carathers; his close friend Harriet Bratcher; and his sister Anthylene Childress. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Saran Carathers (Tammy), David Carathers of Morgantown, KY, Cassandra Carathers Freeman (Will) of Hartford, KY and Kelly Turley of Morgantown, KY; his sisters, Betty Jenkins of Beaver Dam, KY and Reita Brooks of Morgantown, KY; and his stepchildren, Kelly Ball, Tonya Lindsey and JD Bratcher. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
