It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Coots of Morgantown, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 5, 2020, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Harold and Aleta Embry Coots; and his sister Julie Hardin. He is survived by: his wife Kay Amos Coots; his children, Samantha Coots and Noah Coots; his grandchildren, Ava Nicole of Morgantown, KY and Abby Grace Coots of Morgantown, KY; his cousins, Ammie Patterson of Olaton, KY and Anna Gates of Morgantown, KY; his uncle Albert; and his aunt Lorene Embry of Morgantown, KY. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid - 19 virus, a drive thru visitation will be held on Wednesday December 9, 2020 from 11:00am - 12:30pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
