He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Charlie and Mary Lou Gill; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Huff, Greg Gill and Alice Hawkins.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Gill Hawkins of Morgantown, KY; his sons, Michael Hawkins of Bowling Green, KY, Derek Hawkins (Sondra) of Beaver Dam, KY and Jeremy Hawkins (Regina) of Morgantown, KY; his grandchildren, Jenna Hawkins of Morgantown, KY, Emily Hawkins of Beaver Dam, KY, April Holmin of Beaver Dam, KY, Marcus Matthews of Beaver Dam, KY and Heather Sublett (Bryan) of Morgantown, KY; his nephews, Matthew and Andrew Gill of Morgantown, KY; and his siblings, Gene Hawkins of Morgantown, KY and Helen Huff of Hadley, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
