He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward B. McCoy and Murnie Ann Brown McCoy; his wife Virginia Hudson McCoy; and his brothers, Paul Willis, Pen, Prentice and Wallace McCoy.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Ann Lockhart (Ricky) of Morgantown; his grandchildren, Jennifer Brown (Brandon) of Morgantown, Lance Lockhart (Alana) of Morgantown and Cody Lockhart of Morgantown; and his great grandchildren, Lydia Grace of Morgantown, Matthew Landon Brown of Morgantown, John Bennett of Morgantown and Jude Barrett Lockhart of Morgantown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
