It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Ray McKinney of Morgantown, Kentucky, born in Salem, Illinois, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sisters, Myrtle McKinney, Georgie Minton and Loriene Dennis. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis McKinney of Morgantown, KY; his daughter Debbie Benson of Rochester, KY; his granddaughter Jamie Saunders Smith (David) of Morgantown, KY; his great grandchildren, Jasmine Gwathney, Sierra Saunders and Hannah Saunders; and his brother Reathel McKinney (Barbara) of Morgantown, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
