He is survived by: his children, Dudley Childress (Maxine) of Morgantown, Harold Dean Childres (Tammy) of Morgantown and Darlene Childres Phelps (Kevin) of Morgantown; his stepchildren, Mindie Morris of Morgantown, Esther Martin of Morgantown and Lehmon Phelps (Darlene) of Morgantown; his siblings, Alton Childres (Shelia), Effie Bratcher of Morgantown, Bea House of Morgantown and Betty Childres of Morgantown; and his sister-in-law Cathlene Childres of Louisville. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
