She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Taft and Glayds Plummley Porter. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Gates Goodwin (Phillip) of Bowling Green, KY, Belinda Gates Rector (Michael) of Bowling Green, KY and James Gates (Anna) of Morgantown, KY; her grandchildren, Cyle, Amber Rubino, Timothy Goodwin, Briar and Hunter Gates; and her great grandchild Coleman Rubino.
