We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2019, at the age of 101, Exie Hawes (Morgantown, Kentucky), born in Dunbar, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ustus Waterson and Gusta Mae Ruley Kitchens; her children, Kenneth Hawes (Eva) and Sara Cannon; her brothers, William Kitchens, Boyce Kitchens (Ila Mae) and Royce Kitchens; her grandchildren, Shelly Knopf (William), Aimee Henderson (Pat), Dionne Cannon Merritt, Samuel Hawes and Rebecca Cannon Maxwell (Jonathan); and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Trevor McStoots, Drew, Rex, Jagger Henderson, Weston and Landis Merritt. She was also cherished by the seven children.
