He is survived by: his mother Paula Stites Amos of Morgantown, KY; his wife Jeanie Staples Amos of Morgantown, KY; his son Jacob Bishop of Morgantown, KY; his siblings, Sherri De-Ann Shain (Anthony) of Morgantown, KY, Kay Coots of Morgantown, KY and Phillip Amos (Cassandra) of Lafayette, TN; and his siblings-in-law, Janet Tingley of Greenville, KY, Joyce Piper (Darrick) of Beechwood, KY and James Staples (Beth) of Owensboro, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
