She was predeceased by: her parents, David D. Reid and Mary Elizabeth Hepner Reid; her husband James R. Gent; and her brother Donald D. Reid. She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth M. Gent Morrison, Ann E. Gent Gubricky, Mary A. Gent Craft, Laura K. Gent Walton and Catherine J. Gent Albert; and her siblings, Philip H. Reid and Mary E. Reid Klinger. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 15 great, great- grandchildren.
