He was predeceased by: his parents, Veachel Hunt and Delia Hunt; his wife Judy Lane Meredith Hunt; his son Mike Hunt; his stepson Timmy Porter; and his siblings, Royce Hunt, Rodney Hunt and Linda Lee.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Nicewinter of Morgantown, Laura Oliver of Morgantown, Donald Wayne Hunt of Bowling Green, Timmy Hunt of Beaver Dam and Dennis Hunt of Morgantown; his stepchildren, Joey Porter of Lexington, Chuck Porter of Morgantown, Jimmy Gaskey of Morgantown and Scott Gaskey of Cromwell; and his siblings, Jeanette Embry of Morgantown, MaeDean Howard of Morgantown and Jerry Hunt of Morgantown. He is also survived by many grandchildren; great grandchildren.
