He was predeceased by: his mother Florence Porter Mayhugh; and his siblings, Jewel, Nada, Eva Mae, Ovie, Freda, Leatrice, Loyce and Herman.
He is survived by: his wife Edith McCoy Mayhugh; his children, Terry Mayhugh (Shelia), Steve Mayhugh (Penny) and Sandy Mayhugh Embry (Terry); his grandchildren, Eric, Ashley, Sean and Micah; and his great grandchildren, Conner, Parker and Piper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
