It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty E. Kessinger (Morgantown, Kentucky), born in Butler, Kentucky, who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Doolin and Ora V. Abner Evans; her husband Clifford Kessinger; and her siblings, James, Forest, Elmer Evans and Emeline Embry.
She is survived by: her daughter Turrell Jean Diakis of Beaver Dam, KY; her grandchildren, Rachal Niederer and James Reid; and her sisters, Monnie Embry of Henryville, Anna Hazel (Bobby) of Bowling Green, KY and Marie Wilhite of McHenry, KY. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel (927 W G L Smith St, Morgantown, KY 42261). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
