We are sad to announce that on August 6, 2024, at the age of 83, Bennett Johnson of Morgantown, Kentucky, born in Roundhill, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Welbie Johnson and Eliza Woosley Johnson; his in-laws, Ed and Dorothy Phelps; and his son-in-law Craig Stanton.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Phelps Johnson; his children, Dewayne "Dinky" Johnson (Theresa), Ryan Johnson, Kimberly Johnson (Troy) and Amanda Stanton (Timmy); his grandchildren, Adriane Watt (Justin), Mattea Johnson (Chris), Zachary Johnson, Olivia Johnson, Sadie Kimmel, Brandon Kimmel, Kallie Kimmel, Brianna Grubbs (Dylan), Hannah Stanton (Dylan) and Caleb Stanton (Megan); his great grandchildren, Madi, Noah, Max and Sophia; and his brother Bobby Johnson (Delores). He is also survived by one aunt and several nieces and nephews.
