It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bamis J Dockery of Morgantown, Kentucky, who passed away on July 21, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Bamis Dockery; and his siblings, Nellie Mae Dockery, Jimmy Dockery, Janie Phelps, Kay Filback and Estil Dockery.
He is survived by: his parents-in-law, Louis Burden, Eddie Filback and Leo Bratcher; his wife LaDonna Dockery; his sons, Jon (Tara), Mark and PJ Dockery; his grandchildren, Makayla Dorris (Trenton), Jacob, Kooper, Kya and Kippton; his great grandchild Amelia Dorris; his sisters, Alliene Lamar (Ellis) and Mary Bratcher; his parents-in-law, Gary Phelps, Magie Dockery and Faye Dockery; and his extended family, Scotty, Jane Simmons, Taylor and Adi Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
