She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Whitledge and Dorothy Hankins Whitledge; her husband Joseph "Tree" Higgs; and her brother Joseph "Buddy" Whitledge. She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Reid Wolfe (Ronnie) of Morganfield; her grandson Derek Clevidence; and her great grandchild Due.
