Leroy Stone Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Stone of Morganfield, Kentucky, born in Borden, Indiana, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy'Red'Edward Stone and Mary Monroe; his wife Eva Stone (Dyer); his sisters, Dorothy Briles (Stone) and Mary Vonallmen (Stone); and his half-brother Ronnie.
He is survived by: his nieces, Tonia Briles Spanyer, Trina Hutchinson (Briles) and Amy Briles Benock; his nephews, Gerald Riley, Kurt Riley, Kevin Riley and Michael Jackson; and also, Marylin Riley and Tina Green. He is also survived by 5 great nephews, 4 great nieces, 6 great-great nephews.
After his honorable discharge from the military, Leroy carried the discipline and dedication of his service into his civilian life, making significant contributions to his beloved community of Borden.
