She was predeceased by: her parents, Derwood Brown and Bernice Brown (Fulcher); her husband Larry Townsend; her children, Sandra Williams and Wendell Payne; and her brothers, Bill Brantley, Walter Brantley, Billy Browne and Paul Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Oldham (Larry), Maria Bullock Julie (Rick), Ashley Payne, Paul Payne, Tony Payne (Heather), Larry Townsend, Jason Townsend (Rachel) and William Payne; and her sisters, Barbara Gentry (Eugene), Susie Kurtz (Bobby), Judy Summers, Sherry McCormick, Doris Dudley and Linda Phillips. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tomblinson Funeral Home (325 1st St, Henderson, KY 42420). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
