With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Katherine Frazer (Morganfield, Kentucky), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Katherine had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Katherine may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her godmother Sonja "Tante Tutta" Andersen Watson of Honolulu, Hawaii.. She is survived by: her parents, Federico Chi Betancourt of Miami Beach and Atle Vere of Miami; her husband Joseph Atchison Frazer of Coral Gables; her children, Lance Frederic Frazer and Sonja Teasley Frazer; and also Hillary Mason Frazer.
Lance followed suit and attended Fordham University in the Bronx and Lincoln Center, graduating during the pandemic with a degree in international finance, which he has put to good use in his first job in operational finance at Verkada based in San Mateo. Sonja attended Pace University in lower Manhattan for a semester during the pandemic, before transferring to Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, where she is currently studying criminal justice.
