He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Vandyke and Lillian Stone Davis; his siblings, Robert Davis of Ft Stockton, TX and Dorothy Dean Tice of Cheshire Connecticut; and his former wife Nyra Carol Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Davis; his stepdaughters, Sherry Bailey (Brian Wallace) and Julie Rudd (Joe Bob); and his daughter Cathy Walls. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Morganfield Christian Church or St. Anthony's Hospice.
