He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edgar and Ruth Edith Collins (Beaven); and his wife Ruth Ann Collins. He is survived by: his children, Susan Duncan (Paul Duncan) of Boxville, KY. and Billy Joe Collins (Jeanie Collins) of Morganfield, KY; and his sisters, Maxine D'Elia (Andy D'Elia) and Geraldine Omer of Tuscaloosa, AL..

Memorial contributions can be made to John Paul II School or to the American Legion Post #48.
