It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gayle Lane McLeod of Morganfield, Kentucky, born in Yale, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Lane and Goldie Lane. She is survived by: her husband Sam McLeod of Morganfield; her children, Bundy (Amy McLeod) and Karol McLeod of Evansville, IN; her grandchildren, Grace Barnett, Alecce McLeod, Austin McLeod and Chance "Mac" Taylor; and her companion and longtime caregiver Cyndi Byrd.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Whitsell Funeral Home - Morganfield (250 N Court St, Morganfield, KY 42437). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
