It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Alma Jean Willett (Morganfield, Kentucky), who passed away on November 28, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Rudd, Jr. and Veonia Smith Rudd; her close friend George Jones; her children, Janet and Zachary V. Willett; her granddaughter Shondra Willett; her great grandchild Kshawn Long; and her sisters, Margaret Thomas, Phyllis Rudd and Margina Rudd.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Willett, Valerie Elam (Andre) and Tamikey Willett (Mario); her grandchildren, Demond Long, Jarvis Elam (Brianna), Tameisha Willett (Rudaine), Annisha Willett, Andrea Elam, Zerriah Willett, KaNiyah Long, Dreshawn Long, Xavier Singletary, Zackariah McGuire, Rielan, Khylen Davison, Jaevion, Brelin and Aminah Davison; her children, James, Jesse, Clerence, Joseph Smith, Roderick Jackson, Speedy and George Black; and her nieces and nephews, Rodney Rose, Marty McGuire, Harold Thomas, Marion Chambers, Diahanna Foster (Robert), Chaquita Jones and Diane Caldwell. She is also survived by cousins, in-laws, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bowman Chapel Cme Church (621 W O'Bannon St, Morganfield, KY 42437). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
