He was predeceased by: his wife Emma Lou Stockton; his parents, Ottie Gough and B. B. Stockton, Sr.; his sister Elizabeth Ann Boyd; his nephew James Boyd; his brother Joe Royce Stockton; and his son Terry Stockton.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Rebecca Quinn-Herich (Phil), Grace, Sarah Quinn, David Courtney, Rachel Courtney Kirkman, D. O. (Mark), Rollin, Emma Walther, Patrick and Ben Stockton Lewis; his great grandchildren, Gwendolyn Lou and Mabel Herich; his nephew Chris Stockton of Huntsville; his niece Cynthia Ann Winders of Morganfield; his close friend Marty White of Henderson, Kentucky.; and also, Jennifer Quinn, Carol Courtney (Terry) of Evansville, Susan Stockton (Chris Walther) of Los Angeles and Laura Lewis (Buddy) of Houston.
There will be no visitation due to COVID-19 concerns.
