He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kurz and Maria Reck Kurz; his wife Andrea; his daughter Kerri Walker; and his brother Norbert Kurz.
He is survived by: his children, Kenn Kurz and Christina Aichinger; his son-in-law John Walker of Morehead; his close friend Nancy Jaskot of Morehead; his sister Angelika Kurz-Brown of Mesa, Arizona.; his sister-in-law Amy Kurz of Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Emali Walker, Brandon Aichinger, Amanda Walker, Wesley Walker, Krystal Kowerduck and Cayleigh Ann Sims; his great grandchildren, Kayden Kowerduck, Willow Kowerduck, Gabriela Mai Sims, Kaine Enis and Rhett Morton; and his godson Christopher Kurz. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
