He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Wesley Dermon II and Jewell Dean Mitchell Combess; and his brother Michael Lee Combess. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Gail Sparks Dermon; his sons, Virgil Wesley Dermon IV (Martha) and Michael Ray Dermon (Hope Lykins); his stepdaughter Keisha Sparks (Jesse Dehart) of Morehead; his grandchildren, Miranda Dermon, Brianna Sayers, Michael Dermon II, Calista Dermon, Rayleigh Dehart and Jesco Dehart; his great grandchild Olivia Dermon; his daughter Denise Adams of Olive Hill; his siblings, Robert Combess (Charlotte) of Munfordville, David Combess (Margina) of Morehead and Mollie Sparks (Junior) of Morehead; and his stepfather Louis Combess. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and other extended family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Northcutt & Son to assist with funeral expenses.
