She was predeceased by: her parents, Turner Watson and Mint Reed Watson; her husband Charles Gibson; her children, Darrel Ray Gibson and Karen June Witter; her stepdaughter Donna Mathias; and her siblings, Russell, Donald, Edward, Clayton, Oran, Buford Watson, Nola Crace and Ruie Reed.
She is survived by: her son Barry Gibson (Carolyn) of Morehead; and her stepson James Morris Gibson of Shelbyville. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren.
