He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. "Bill" Porter and Ruby Jean Graham Porter; his wife Mitzie D. Kelsey Porter; and his brother William Roy Porter. He is survived by: his children, Ron "Tiger" Porter (Darcee) of Richmond, Lori Porter Butler (Erik) of Shepherdsville and Crystal Porter Black of Morehead, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Paige Frankenberg, Emily Porter, Lydia Porter, Brittany Lambert, Maggie Carmack, Ethan Lambert, L'Shae Black and Tanner Black; and his siblings, Roger Lee Porter (Rita) of Morehead, Larry Wilson Porter (Geri) of Morehead, Timothy Wayne Porter of Cincinnati, Ohio and Sarah Jean "Cherry" Murphy of Fayetteville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and other extended family and many friends.
