We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2023, at the age of 81, Richard Sanford Lyon of Morehead, Kentucky, born in Louisa, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Buell Lyon and Cora Cyrus Lyon; and the mother of his child Agnes L. Lyon. He is survived by: his wife Vendalee Lyon; his daughter Angela Lyon of Morehead, KY; and his siblings, Sue Diamond of Louisa, KY, Phyllis and Bobby Stinnett (Eric Espada).

Donations to Lawrence County Retired Teacher's Association, to support academic scholarships, would be appreciated.
