He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Downey Volk and Doris Dawley Volk; and his grandchild Damon. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Wood Volk; his children, Kellie Volk Hoffman of Columbus, Ohio, Eric Volk of Ft. Bliss, Todd Volk of Louisville and Douglas Volk (Rebecca) of Morehead, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Becca, Sophia, Hannah, Samuel, Zelda, Serenity, Ezekiel, River, Colton and Abigail.
