She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Curtis and Lena Fay Curtis; her siblings, Jerry Curtis and Annabrella Curtis; and her granddaughter Danielle Perry.
She is survived by: her husband Lemuel Black, Jr. of Washington; her daughter Angela Leigh Black of Morehead; her grandson Josh Perry (Bria) of Bedford, Kentucky; her great grandchildren, Zelda Perry, Gunnar Adkins, Diesel Law and Meadow Perry; her sons, Chris (Regina Gilliam) and Darrell; her grandchild River; and also, James, Zona Hall, Chris Bowman and Billy Young. She is also survived by extended family, including her church family, and many friends.
