He was predeceased by: his parents, Seelye Edward "Ed" Reynolds and Ammie Lorene Brown Reynolds; and his brother Frank Edward Reynolds. He is survived by: his siblings, Dale Reynolds (Connie) of Wallingford and Brenda Reynolds of Morehead; his niece Miranda Delaney (Patrick); and his nephews, Mical Reynolds, Derek Rudd and Zane Reynolds. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
