She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Sorrell Kissick and Omar Henry Kissick; her sisters, Catherine Jackson (Paris), Viola Powers (Tom) and Marie Strong (Bill); and her son Paul Kent James.
She is survived by: her husband Omer Brown of Morehead, KY; her sister Joan Moser (Tom) of Stanford, KY; her son Tim James (Lisa) of Morehead, Kentucky; her grandson Joshua James (Melody); her great grandchild Peyton James; and her niece Deborah McBrayer.
