She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom C. Tilley and Effie Tilley (Blackburn); her husbands, Frank Smith and William N. Lester, Jr.; and her children, Frankie "Bucky" Edward Smith, Gene Edward Smith and Soundra Jean Smith.
She is survived by: her son James Smith (Audrey) of Phelps; her stepson David L. Lester (Rebecca) of Jeffersonville; her daughters, Joann Moore (Larry) of Morehead, Lois Marney Maness of Morehead, Connie S. Smith of Morehead and Angela Hays of Louisville; her grandchildren, Jamie, Kelli (Ronnie), Kristie, Scott (Tammy), Christopher Dane, Skylar, Tara (Ryan), Brandon, Frankie, Taza, Jamar (Arionia), Seth, Tate and Malcolm; and her great grandchildren, Khloë, Jocelyn, Maguire, Këona, Dawson, Mackenzie, Alyssa, Hunter, Hayden, LeNae, LeRon, Jasmine, Jada and Tatum. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
