It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orbie Charles Ramey of Morehead, Kentucky, who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Ramey and Estella Foster Ramey; his siblings, Ernest Ramey and Laxie Ramey Blankenship; and his wife Shirley Faye Trent Ramey.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Ramey (Georgi) of Morehead, KY, Larry Ramey (Paula) of Wakeman, Dale Kegley (JoAnn) of Guyandotte, Carlos Kegley (Tracy) of Taylorsville, KY, Belinda Beamon (Dennis) of Morehead, KY, Sharon Pernell of Morehead, KY and Melanie Reffitt of Morehead, KY; and his brothers, Paul Ramey (Mary) of Fisherville, KY and Otis Ramey of Sheffield. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
