He was predeceased by: his parents, Dexter Perry and Alice Hampton Perry; his wife Edith Evelyn Slusher Perry; and his siblings, Henry "Hank" Perry, Zona Perry and Dorothy McKinney.

He is survived by: his daughter Carol Cecil (Gary Allen); his grandson Austin Allen Cecil (Leslie Faith); his great grandchildren, Easton of West Liberty and Corbin Cecil of West Liberty; and his siblings, Victor Perry, Paul Perry, Arlie Perry and Geraldine Perry of Morehead. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
