He was predeceased by: his parents, James Perry Peyton and Clora Frances Peyton; his wife Susan Pauline Gevedon Peyton; his siblings, Velma Peyton, Orene McCowan, Lenora Faye Perry, Ula Beatrice Littleton, Elwood Peyton and Curtis Waldo Peyton; and his great grandchild J. D. Maschino.
He is survived by: his son Jerry C. Maschino (Jewell) of Morehead; and his sister Thelma Long of Campton. He is also survived by five grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; and 19 great-great grandchildren.
