He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Perry and Noela Lagasse Perry; his son Gary Lee Perry; and his brother Marvin Perry III. He is survived by: his wife Charleen Sargent Perry; his children, Michael Perry, Jr. (Aimee) of Bangor and Lynette Helton of Morehead; and his siblings, Mitchell Perry of Crofton, Marion Perry of Tullahoma, Alice Jarrell of Crofton, Marlene Goodpaster of Lynchburg and Aurora Perry of Corpus Christi. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
