It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcella S. Fannin (Morehead, Kentucky), born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvia Lee and Lula Hall Wagoner; her siblings, Mary Elizabeth Wagoner Smith, Ina Alberta Johnson, Hildreth "Faye" Wagoner Wituszynski, Floyd William Wagoner, Scottie Wagoner and Richard Lee Wagoner; her half-brother Jesse Stout; and her brother Ernest Burton.
She is survived by: her husband Harold C. Fannin; her children, Elizabeth "Jane" Williams (Ryan) of Morehead and Ronald Lee "Ron" Fannin (Kieryn) of Shelbyville; her grandchildren, Kara Lyna Cooper, Bryannah Lula Rochelle Isaacs, Ryan O'Neil "Bub" Williams II, Tiarah Marie Andrea Fannin and Karsen Jelaine Fannin; her great grandchildren, Lucas Matthew Cooper, Ciara Cooper and Karmin Cooper; her brother Ora Thomas Wagoner (Anna) of Morehead; her close friend Pauline "Polly" Stamper of Morehead; and her caregiver Tammy Collins of Morehead. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
