With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lacynda Carol Thompson (Morehead, Kentucky), who passed away on January 16, 2025 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Millicent Chapman Johnson; and her brother Daniel Kilgore. She is survived by: her father James Douglas Johnson of Georgetown; her husband Larry Shane Thompson; her children, Kinsey Shaye Crouch (Braxton Evans) and Kolin Douglas Johnson of Morehead; her grandchildren, Baylen and Everly; and her siblings, James Douglas Johnson of Morehead, Richard Dale Johnson of Morehead and Summer Renee Johnson of Georgetown, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Northcutt & Son Home For Funerals, Inc. (400 Fraley Dr, Morehead, KY 40351). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351, to assist with funeral expense.
