Joseph Smoot Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2021, at the age of 72, Joseph Smoot of Morehead, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Goble Smoot and Pansy Ethel Pierce Smoot; and his sisters, Billie Jean Smoot Smith and Lillian Smoot Finch. He is survived by: his wife Diana Hampton Smoot; his sons, Joseph "Joe" Smoot, Jr. (April) of Hillsboro and Jason Michael Robertson (Beth) of Hillsboro; his grandchildren, Hunter Curtis Smoot, Peyton Leann Smoot, Austin Michael Robertson, Andrew Blake Smoot and Harper Jade Robertson; and his brothers, Clark Smoot (Pat) of Converse, Jesse "Tone" Smoot of Hillsboro, Robert Smoot (Kathy) of Jackson and Rawleigh Smoot (Dixie) of Hillsboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends.
