It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Russell Knight of Morehead, Kentucky, born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fitch Knight and Dorothy "Dot" Fields Knight. He is survived by: his wife Leona King Knight; his sons, Wesley Knight (Stacy) of Union and Nicholas Knight of Morehead; and his grandchildren, Olivia, Miles, Jaiden Knight, Robert, Nora and Charlotte Wilke. He is also survived by several aunts and cousins; and other extended family and friends.
