He is survived by: his parents, Jimmie Lin Knipp, Sr. and Clara Louise Bowling Knipp of Morehead; his wife Kimberly Rose Wilson Knipp; his children, Shelby McDowell, Bentley and Brody Knipp; his siblings, Kimberly Knipp Caskey (Chris), Michael "Mike" Knipp (Amanda) of Morehead and Travis Knipp of Morehead; his niece Layla Perkins; and his nephews, Brayden Perkins and Connor Caskey. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with burial expenses.
